Antique graceful 19Thc Napoleon III era Holy Water Font little Virgin Lourdes

Description

Fine antique french holy water font, from 19THc, Napoleon III era, 1870, made of embossed brass, alabaster and mother of pearl for the bowl, adorned with a miniature embossed crowned Virgin at the center, surrounded by lattices, flower and leaves and completed by a cross on the top.  Engraved inscription on the bowl in french for " Souvenir of Our Lady of Lourdes ".
Nice model.
Condition:  it is in a very nice antique condition. Please note that over times, the ink is                            removed and the mark visible on the alabaster is not a slot but a natural vein                        of the alabaster..
