RARE COLLECTABLE
1970s BP KEYCHAIN
This replica of an old Italian coin was released as a key ring by the BP fuel brand in the 1970s. The coin features an image of Agrippa's head with the corona navalis surrounded by the text: "M AGRIPPA L OF COS III" (Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa).
On the back a Roman warrior in chariot with four horses with this text: "TR POTCOSII Bravio".
Agrippa was one of the most important Roman generals in the transition period from republic to principate and the best friend and right-hand man of the princeps Imperator Caesar Augustus.
Coin measures 30.1 mm  (1 inch = 2.54 cm).
Very nice for the key ring of a coin collector.
