AC/DC announces first North American tour since 2016: Here’s how to get tickets

Legendary Australian rock band AC/DC is returning to the North American stage for the first time in nine years with their 2025 “Power Up” tour.
The stadium tour, which kicks off on April 10, 2025, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, will span 13 cities across the U.S. and Canada, wrapping up on May 28 in Cleveland, Ohio.
It will include stops at some of the most iconic stadiums in North America, including the Rose Bowl in Pasadena (April 18), Gillette Stadium in Foxborough (May 8), Soldier Field in Chicago (May 24), and Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland (May 28).

AC/DC’s “Power Up” tour marks the iconic band’s first full North American tour since 2015-2016, when they were touring behind their “Rock or Bust” album, and follows a successful European leg in 2024.
This tour is in support of their seventeenth studio album of the same name, which debuted in 2020. The album, a tribute to the band’s late co-founder Malcolm Young, who passed away in 2017, features the return of singer Brian Johnson after his brief hiatus due to hearing issues.
Following the release of “Power Up” in 2020, the band has reunited with their classic lineup, featuring Johnson, guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney. This is the first tour with the new lineup, following a series of health challenges and lineup changes over the years.
Support for the 2025 tour will come from The Pretty Reckless, the hard rock band fronted by Taylor Momsen.
Since forming in 1973, AC/DC has become one of the best-selling rock bands of all time, with albums like “Back in Black” (1980) and “Black Ice” (2008) and hits including “Back in Black,” “Highway to Hell,” and “You Shook Me All Night Long.”
